♡How I Ombré / Dip Dye my hair♡

People always ask how i Ombré / Dip Dye my hair and it is a lot simpler than people think.
I've been dip dying my own hair for far over a year now and it's almost second nature to me, there's always the worry that it will go wrong but it hasn't as of yet!

This time i wanted it to be slightly more ombré than dipped which might sound silly as people probably think they're exactly the same but the way i see it is that dip dye is a definite line of colour change in your hair and ombré is a more natural looking fade into a lighter or darker colour.

I thought this video could be helpful because lot's of people seem to fall into the trap of buying a kit which i personally do not think is a good idea, i've never seen them turn out that well and they appear to make everything more complicated than it is and this is honestly such a simple method to follow.

A few tips i think you should keep in mind if you do decide to follow this are...
♡ blonde dye is essentially bleach and it smells really bad, open a window
♡ while applying the dye stand in a bathroom, outside or on a mat
♡ if you get dye on your skin wash it off immediately
♡ do not leave the dye on any longer than the recommended time because it will ruin your hair
♡ follow the instructions from the box of dye you use
♡ wear gloves whilst applying to your hair
♡ try not to use heat as much once its dyed to keep your hair as healthy as possible
♡ buy a hair dye 2 shades lighter than you want to go
♡ use a lot more conditioner than you normally would on the ends
