Shoes - asos / Bag - Topshop / Top and Hair Bow - H&M / Maude Skirt
With my mum clearly being ahead of the times and drawing inspiration from the 60s and 70s which I then see happening everywhere else too, she had very conveniently started the pattern for her Maude skirt. A 60s style A-line with pockets which I adore. I'm not usually someone who will settle for any item of clothing which doesn't sit on my waist, we did plan for this skirt to sit on my waist but I don't know something just happened and it sits just below which I actually really love. It's not the most summer appropriate item of clothing but I think with a cropped bardot it is just fine for warmer weather although I'm super excited to team it with turtle necks and cable knit tights in winter so look forward to that on the blog.
Since I am so in love with this skirt and plan to make many more I thought I should give you the opportunity to win a PDF copy of the pattern (pictured below) along with everything you'll need to make your own Maude, including this amazing Ikea print fabric, which I am rather jealous of!
