Dress - Weekend Doris / Super cosy tights - Primark / Shoes - River Island / Earrings - Primark
Happy Sunday everyone! I'm exhausted! I recently decided to get a sleep cycle app for my phone because I don't think I sleep very well and honestly it has just reassured my inhibitions... I live between two main roads at University and there always seems to be traffic or a police car or just rowdy people and I therefore find it really difficult to get to sleep and I don't know what to do about it, as much as the app is great for letting me know that I only get about 5 hours of sleep a night, 3 of which are only light sleep it doesn't actually give me any solutions. So I've been really sleepy during the day time and it sucks.
I'm not particularly annoyed about it, I'm just tired which I suppose is expected and I keep finding myself falling asleep in the middle of the day because I can't quite make it to the afternoon. The only thing that is currently helping me get to uni is being ridiculously comfortable. I don't only mean physically comfortable in my clothes but mentally comfortable with the thought of being seen in public this way? I wish I was someone who could comfortably go to uni in my PJs but I'm never that pleased about being in the open world without lipstick never mind an outfit to match!
My most comfortable and stylish pieces of clothing are 100% my Weekend Doris Dresses. If you're familiar with my blog you'll know that my Mum is super cool and designs and sells her own patterns for clothes as well as making lots of them herself and handing them down to me, which is exactly what happened with this forest green corduroy dream of a dress!
The Weekend Doris may have been my Mum's first of her little but growing collection of super cool retro patterns but I think it will always be a firm favourite in my wardrobe, I would honestly wear one every day if I could get away with it! If you'd like to find out more about the Weekend Doris, feel free to check it out here.
I hope you've had a lovely weekend!

P.S. I would just like to note that my boyfriend, John, took these blog photos on his new swish camera and I'm so ridiculously happy with them. He has also started a blog of his own if you'd like to go and have a little nosey! (just click on his name!)
