Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something 70s

Dress - Vintage , Bag and Shoes - Primark , Necklace - Topshop

I have definitely mentioned on my blog before that one of my favourite things to do is to go shopping in my Mum's wardrobe. It's not quite the same as shopping as there is no exchange of money and no guarantee that she won't be getting it back very shortly but it does mean that I get to get some new dresses without breaking the bank. This 1970s dress is probably my absolute favourite thing I've received from my Mum this time around, I feel like it's super 70s without being anything like the whole 70s trend of flares and blouses with pussy bows.

It's very thick and warm so perfect for winter and oh so comfortable even though it looks completely put together and like I probably shouldn't be so comfy. I wore this outfit just for a days of lounging at home watching movies and the likes (including the shoes) and I would not have been more comfy in my PJs. I'm the sort of person who if I don't get ready in the morning and pop on some lipstick then I'm not going to be productive at all, I may as well stay in bed, so comfy dresses that look SO cool like this are my absolute favourite thing.

I bought the shoes from primark in the boxing day sales, they are a size too big and I paid far more for them than I think I was supposed to because of a mix up at the till but I think they're really cool and the colour goes with the dress perfectly.

What is your favourite comfy, but put together, winter outfit?
