THIGH HIGH FLORALS

SHIRT - YSL via charity shop

The sun is finally starting to shine and the cold seems to have disappeared for now and I've decided I can go partially bare legged and I'm very happy about it. I am sticking to long dresses or skirts though, or, in this case, my thigh high floral boots. They haven't yet graced my blog with all their glory which is a shame since I bought them just after Christmas but I couldn't be happier with this outfit.

Double denim paired with oversized shirts is something I don't wear nearly enough but need to continue, I love the clash of a smart shirt with casual, comfy denim. I'm also very tempted to go one step further to triple denim because I reckon this would also look ace with a denim shirt...

I'm currently writing this blog post whilst ignoring a mental to-do list that seems to be never-ending. It's not a surprise that I have a lot to do, I'm within the last few months of my degree so of course I have a lot to do and of course, it is overwhelming. It's comforting not being the only one in this, tensions are high for us all but I have discovered I need a bit of time, outside, to myself every day or I just feel like I'm stuck in an endless loop of writing and reading. Which is sort of how this post happened, I just went for a walk with Finn and my camera and it was lovely.

Fortunately, I have a lot to look forward to after all my deadlines because otherwise, I don't know if I'd be able to see past the mounds of work I currently have. I'm surviving on a diet of caffeine and coursework and I'm so ready to lose that second part!

I've been trying to keep up with my blog through all of this work and that's not something I plan to put on hold. There may be long breaks between posts and far fewer fashion posts (I am living mostly in pyjamas, no makeup and fluffy socks) for the next month or so, but there will still be content. I love writing and I need to keep writing purely for myself or the uni work seems to become a lot duller.
